How to Order Individual DTF Transfers
Prepare your artwork
Export your design as a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI. Transparent backgrounds ensure only your artwork transfers — not a white rectangle around it. We also accept SVG, PDF, AI, PSD, and JPG.
Upload and select your size
Go to our Individual DTF Transfers product page, upload your file, select your size and quantity, and add to cart. Custom sizes are available — just enter your exact dimensions.
Free file check before printing
Every order goes through our free file review. If we spot a resolution issue, transparency problem, or anything that could affect your print, we contact you before pressing print — so nothing goes to waste.
We print and ship fast
Most orders are printed and shipped within 1 business day. Orders placed before 10 AM EST typically ship same day. We ship from Bohemia, NY to all 50 states via standard or expedited shipping.
Apply with your heat press
Place the transfer face-down on your garment, press at 320°F with medium-firm pressure for 10–15 seconds, then peel warm or cold. Professional results every time.
Heat Press Application Settings
For best results, do a second press: place a sheet of parchment paper or a Teflon sheet over the applied transfer and press for 5 more seconds. This improves adhesion and reduces any sheen on the surface.

How is an individual transfer different from a gang sheet?
An individual transfer is a single design, cut to size and ready to press. A gang sheet is a large 22" wide sheet where you pack multiple designs together for a lower cost per print. If you only have one design and need a few copies, individual transfers are simpler. If you have three or more designs, a gang sheet almost always saves money.
Do I need a heat press to apply DTF transfers?
A heat press is strongly recommended for consistent, professional results. It provides even temperature and pressure across the full transfer surface. A household iron can work for small, flat designs but typically produces uneven results and shorter wash durability.
Will the transfer look good on a black shirt?
Yes. DTF transfers include a white underbase ink layer that ensures all colors — including light colors, pastels, and whites — appear vivid and accurate on dark garments. The same transfer works identically on a white shirt and a black shirt.
How long will my DTF transfer last after washing?
When applied correctly, our transfers are rated for 50+ washes without cracking, peeling, or significant fading. Wash inside-out in cold water, avoid bleach, and tumble dry on low for maximum longevity.
